A control panel is normally only needed when you hve two pumps. Then the panel alternates their oeration and usually adds a high level that turns on both pumps in case of an unusual amount of water or failure in one of the pumps. The high water alarm is often built into the emergency operation circuit or added to it with a fourth switch. : I am planning a basement bathroom around a Little Giant : tank/pump system with a high water alarm. I am still : unclear, however, on the need and/or role of a remote : control panel with these systems. Please help clear : up this issue for me so I will know what items to : order.
