I would replace the wax ring under the Unifit adapter. There should be sufficent wax to seal from top to bottom. You could also check the black rubber collar for cuts. You may also use a small mirror to see if there is anything in the trapway. I have pulled many things out of various toilets over the years. Everything from kids toys to make-up kits. Terry
