The 1,000 btu/cu.ft is the value to be used and the efficiency only tells you how much of that 1,000 btu's you will not waste.100,000 btu equals 100 cu ft/hour. : Dale, We need one more number to use the charts you provided. how do we translate the typical consumption of appliances(table 12.1) into cubic ft per hour?? : I found a value of 1000btu/cubic ft. but this is the theoretical value. do i need to adjust for efficiency of the appliance? or is that already in table 12.1? : how many cubic ft per hour is my 100,000 btu furnace going to consume. : Thanks, : Dick
