A closet bend has about a 5" portion which is similar to a street elbow so that the collar can slide down on the finished floor. A hub closet bend is the same as an elbow, or reducing elbow in the case of a 4x3 bend. You can use a 3" drain if there are only 3 toilets on the pipe and : What is the difference between a closet bend and 1/4 bend? Also what determines use of 3" or 4" drain and one of them has to be at least fifteen feet from the others. Otherwise you have to use 4" pipe. : pipe for a toilet? Thanks in advance!!!
