: After 24 years, we find it necessary to replace our washer. However, the hot and cold hose nuts connected to the laundry box shut off faucets are frozen. I'm afraid that if I force the issue, the plastic box or pipes will break. How do I get the nuts loose?
: TIA

Peter, I have had to hack saw them very carefully and split them with a screwdriver. You may be better off changing the hot and cold faucet as you may need to shut these off in an emergency. The old ones may not work to well. WD40 helps also. Dale's Plumbing Service Inc LMP
