Bud's reply was funny though. I printed it out for my wife to read. Man, what a way to start the morning. Now my stomach aches.
The wax ring is a good place to check. You may want to check for low water in p-traps too. When rooms aren't used for months, water can evaporate from traps allowing smells to come into the room. Terry
