What does the drain piping in an all tile shower look like?

I wrote you on 7/30 about my all ceramic tile (bottom drain) shower off master bedroom leaking somehow into the kitchen below. No answer to that...but perhaps you could help me understand how the drain piping is configured so we can take a roto snake to it and free up the drain issue (slow draining) thnks
