: I have a second floor bathtub that is used very infrequently. I believe there is a very small leak at the drain. : The symptoms are that paint seems to peal off right below the drain on the first floor ceiling. There is : not enough water to discolor the ceiling. I am guessing that the drain isn't seated correctly or the putty : is cracked. Is it possible to remove the drain from above and reseat it without cutting through the ceiling? : Is there anything else I need to know? I have a second floor bathtub that is used very infrequently. If this tub were used a lot then the leak would be worse, right?. I would just cut the ceiling out find and repair the leak. Just my opinion. Dale's Plumbing Service Inc LMP |
