I have a problem with my tub drain. The tub has a floor joist directly below it so a straight pipe down from drain to p trap makes it so the drain pipe doesnt seat securely on the bottom of the tub. I have been told there is a piece that can be bent to make up for the offset. Would this be the best way to og or should I get a gasket that is spongier to make up for the lack of a flush fit
