If the pipes were leaking in the basement, the basement floor would be discolored, not the one in the bathroom. And since you have a basement, one would assume that a leaking pan would also leak into the basement before showing up in the bathroom. My guess is a leaking door and a bad alope to the sill which allow water to get on the follr.
: THE TILE FLOOR OUTSIDE SHOWER TURNED BLACK AND COULD NOT BE CLEANED. REPLACED WITH LINO WITH SAME BLACK RESULTS. COULD THIS BE LEAKING SHOWER PAN OR LEAKING GALVANIZED PIPES IN BASEMENT THAT LEAD TO SHOWER.
