I have a sump hole in my basement. No pump. There is a PVC pipe running from the LP gas furnace into the hole. (I don't know why). The hole is capped and caulked due to a radon system. I just discovered some water coming up through a small hole in the caulk around the entry way of the pipe. What actions should I be taking if any? The house is 11/2 years old with no signs of basement water problems. (I just moved in 2 weeks ago). Any advice would be appreciated. |
