Polybutylene pipe

I am going to buy a free standing Condo that was built in 1994, that has gray hot and cold water plastic flexible piping. How can I tell if this is the Polybutylene plumbing that there was a class action lawsuit for leaking fittings etc.? Are there other types of this type of plastic pipe that is gray?
