|In response to Re: Gas Boiler|
: I have a gas boiler that I just replaced the watts regulator (water feed) valve. The boiler works fine but it always reaches the red zone when the pump fires and causes the pressure relief valve to open. I bleed the expansion tank and the baseboards (only water is released, no air is left)to no avail. I am at wits end, any suggestions??
Fred, It sounds like the expansion tank is bad. If it is a bladder type and it is full of water it is bad and needs replaced.Dale's Plumbing Service LMP
