|In response to Re: Knock, knock, knock in my pipes|
: When I drain the 2nd floor tub or shower in my 1920 house, there is a definite knock that knocks every 3-5 seconds until the draining is done. Should I worry?
: Also, the sink in that bathroom only gets cold water but the tub gets both. Help??!!
Cary, You need to take the supply line off to your lav and see if you have water to that point. repair as needed to the faucet. If you have no water to there you may have to do some repipeing. As far as the knocking noise I can only think it is from a bad vent, meaning the drain is not getting enough air. Dale's Plumbing Service
