|In response to Re: Removal of Bathroom....|
: I am a novice at remodeling, and I want to take out an existing bathroon and connect to the bedroom next to it to enlarge the bedroom. My problem is this: I do not want to completely remove the piping for the full bathroom, I would like to just cut and cap the pipes, this would also include the sewer. The bathroom is a full bathroom and includes the removal of a tub/shower surround, toliet, sink and cabinet. The removal I can do myself, the cut and capping is where I don't have that much experience. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Just to let you know, this is a manufactured home. Thank you in advance.
Laurie, you can use a glue cap PVC or ABS to cap this pipe. You also can use a dollor plug, see your local plumber for them.
