I have a very old toilet that constantly runs. It runs
via the over flow pipe , not the flapper. If I bend the
float arm to stop it, the tank only fills 2/3 full.
If I bend the float arm to fill the tank, the running
problem returns. I can't install a "master plumber"
replacement kit, because the nut underneath the tank
is frozen.
