Pardon my lack of technical language -- here's my
best explanation:
I recently replaced the balls and flappers in 3 toilets.
The plumber did not install new balls, but replaced
them with a type of floating mechanism.
Since then, every time the tanks refill and
the water shuts off in the two toilets on the second
floor, there is a noise like an explosion.
The toilet on the first floor is quieter.
I don't know if this is a common problem, or if the
parts are defective or can be adjusted. Any advice
you can give will be appreciated.
