: I'd like to add a toilet in my basement. : I currently have a sewage ejector in my basement for a floor drain and laudry tub. It is not vented to the roof. Can I use 2" pipe to vent to the existing vent on the first floor? : Also, the waste pipe from the ejector is 2" and has a horizontal run of 20'. Is this acceptable, or do I need to increase it's size? TWP, As long as you tie back in to a 2" or bigger vent 6" above the flood level rim of the highest fixture it's ok. The 2" horizontal line is OK also support every 4'.Dale Peck LMP |
