|In response to Re: Put in Toilet|
: I want to put a toilet in downstairs. The problem I have is the downstairs is solid cement. The toilet will be placed 9 feet away from the drain coming from a toilet upstairs.
: Can I cut a hole in the floor about four feet deep to the drain from above in Y into it?
: Then pour cement back and put in the toilet?
Matt If your line is 4 ft in the groung you should be able to cut a 4x3 san tee in the vertical line. Install a 2in vent in the line going to the stool and bring the vent out the roof or into another vent the same size or bigger. Dale Peck LMP
