: I have an In-Sink-Erator (ISE) disposal about 8 years old. When I trun it on, it runs and grinds stuff like it should, but it kicks off the internal breaker in about 15 sec. Let it set for a bit and you can reset it. There doesn't seem to be anything jammed in it, but it does sound a little different than it used to when it runs. Any ideas?

It doesn't sound good. I would either find out what is slowing down the motor, could be popcorn, plastic clip, and or replace.
