: I recently put in a new ceranmic tile floor in my bathroom. This raised the floor ~1/4 inch. Do I have to raise the drainage flange that the toilet sitd on? Ray

Ray,
You can leave the toilet flange where it is. With tile floors, you may need the 3" closet bolts instead of the standard 2-1/4".

The wax should compress 1/2" or more, which may require 2-3 wax rings stacked. Terry
