: I am dire need of some instructions on how to replace the faucet in my bath tub. It is dripping and I know nothing about plumbing but I am a quick learner. Can you help? There are three knobs that need to be replaced one for the hot and cold water as well as one to turn on the shower. If you need more info let me know. Thanks!!!
Susan, Replaceing the tug faucet may require tools such as a torch, pipe wrenches hack saws, and copper tubing cutter. Replaceing the stems, washes and seats will require a couple of special tools also.I recommend going to the library and getting a book on repairing faucets before you tackle this task. I know it will cost money but if you can hire a licenced plumber to do the job and you watch him you will learn from him and you may be happy you had it done proffessionally. Good luck on your task. dale Peck LMP
