: Roots from our trees and shrubs invade the main sewer line to the street creating slow drains and backups and overflows.

: We've used store-bought, flushable root killer with some success. But we're wondering if regular rock salt would do the trick. Or is there
: something else even better?

Jon, If you have cast iron pipe salt will eat it up. Try root-x I understand it works real well. Clean your sewer line once a year to keep the roots out. Dale Peck LMP
