Pam, With the UPC code, that would not fly. There are several other codes used in the United States, that I am not fa miler with. Perhaps some other plumbers will know what the other codes allow in this case. I am assuming the plumbing inspector thought that it was OK? With a plumbing permit, you would have a means of checking to see if your work was meeting the code requirement in your area. |
