You need to raise the flange, but how you do it depends on the piping material. : I am installing hard wood flooring on a concrete slab on the first floor of my home. I need to raise the flange in my 1/2 bath. How do I do this? Do I do this before or after the floor installation? I have average to above average carpentry skills but I have done very little plumbing in the past. Do I need a professional to do this work or can I do it myself? Thanks for your help.
