: In my bedroom, the bathroom sink smells like algae. It's gotten so strong that it's filled the entire room. I'm afraid I'll get sick from the smell. I can't locate the cause, but it seems like it's in the pipes. There are no smells coming from the other bathroom sink, the kitchen sink, or my shower.
: Last year this same thing happened and the landlord replaced the faucet. It seemed to tone the smell down. Then one day it was gone. Now it's back and I don't know what to do. I poured bleach down the drain hoping that would help.
: Please help me let my landlord know what the problem is, otherwise he won't do anything about it.
: Thank you,

Laura, use a long thin bottle brush and pour bleach in the overflow tube and scrub a dub dub.Take the stopper out and scrub with bleach inside the drain pipe.I here coke a cola does a good job too.Just my thoughts.Dale Peck LMP
