|In response to Re: Install Jacuzzi Cetra|
: I have recently installed a Jacuzzi Cetra in a new bathroom in my existing basement. The bathroom is on a raised wood platform that has been constructed very level on the exisitng concrete floor. Any gaps below the new wood framing has been filled in with new concrete. The Jacuzzi installation instructions make no mention of using leveling compound on an existing level floor. The unit has come with 6 integral foam block feet that allow it to sit level. Is any further material really necessary? Thanks for your help.
If there are any of you scratching your heads on this one I have found the answer myself. A phone call to Jacuzzi provided the answer. As long as the floor is level and structurally sound there is no need for more material. The integral feet are designed to carry the load.
