: I am installing a Jacuzzi Cetra Whirlpool tub. I bought a standard drain kit which does not come with the tub. The problem is that the vertical distance from the overflow to the drain is longer than what the kit provides. Do I need to by a special size drain kit for this tub? I thought about putting in an extension piece but then I would also need to extend the stopper arm. Any ideas?
Tub drains come in many types. For the taller tubs like the Cetra, you could use the toe-tap drains that combine fittings with ABS pipe. You can make these any size. Gerberit makes adjustable tub drains that are tall enough for the jetted tubs. Terry
