|In response to Re: basement bathroom vents|
Les: If you have a wife named Betty, you better get all your duckies in a row before starting this bathroom addition. You can tie into the existing soil pipe, but will have to do some creative venting for the new bathroom group. In my area "Studor Vents" have been a welcome fact of life for at least ten years. This type of vent makes your type of installation so much easier than running a seperate vent through the roof or reventing above the highest fixture in the house.
Boy...is Betty ever going to be surprised when
you have the new installation completed, and it works perfectly. She probably will bake you a nice cake and somehow let it be known that she is
sorry that she doubted your abilities to complete the task. Be gracious...it's just as important to be a "good winner" as it is to be a "good loser"
Lots of luck...Bud..
