: TERRY: CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO REPLACE THE CORE OF A SINGLE KITCHEN SINK CORE? I'VE TAKEN OFF THE HANDLE (SINGLE SCREW IN TOP) AND TAKEN OFF THE SCREW ON BASE, HOWEVER, I CAN GET THE TEFLON CORE OUT TO REPLACE. DO I HAVE TO UNDO DOUBLE BOLTS ON UNDERSTIDE OF KITCHEN SIN? THE BRAND NAME(THE ONLY ID I SEE ON IT) IS DMC? I'M WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY, THANKS

I have not worked on a DMC faucet. The core should be removable from the top of the faucet. Leave the faucet attached to the sink. Do you have a replacement core for it yet? If not, you may be better off replacing the faucet. Many faucets have a thread on ring that holds the faucet together below the control lever.
