Jimbo: 1). Yes an average modern day automatic washer with a good pump can produce 6-10 feet of head pressure.
2). My personal preference would be to indirect waste the washer into a trap/ san Tee on the vent for your effluent pump.
3). Unless you are using some really bad soap powder, the benefit of dumping into the sump far outweigh any conceivable problem. Sewage has a high level of Amonia and Hydrogen. These gases can be harmful over a period of time. The passage of wash water through the sump will keep things cleaner and sweeter, and effectively prolong the life of the system...IMHO...Bud
