| In response to Re: Snaking a 2" Washing Machine Line Opening into a 4" Line | |
|
: I've been snaking my washing machine line (which is in the garage and leades to a 4" line beyond the garage. Apparently I have a large deposit ot lint which nothing seems to penetrate inclucing the snake I rented. Is there a snake available with blades where the actual snake comes in sections and can easily cut through this stuff? : Thanks for any advice you can offer. Ed, in my opinion you have tree roots in the 4" line and you need to dig up the 4" line and install a 4" clean out so that you can get a 3-1/2" cutter in the line.there may be other problems with this line but this is where i would start.
