|In response to Re: Pressure reducer is a problem|
: I moved into a house a while back, and the watr pressure is so low that the shower massage will not even work. Pressure is low in the whole house, and when I turn on 2 faucets, everything slows to a trickle. I went under the house, and found a big brass pressure reducer (I think) on the main line. It has what looks like an adjustment screw. Can I adjust it to get more water pressure in the house?
Alex, If This Is A pressure reducing valve that normally is what you can do.i can't see the reason why the previous owner did not correct the low water pressure problem. It may turn out to be a plugged water line after the prv. hopefully the adjustment will be all that is needed. Dale
