Dear Terry,
I have a 45 yr old ranch on a slab and the drain from the bathtub seemsto have collapsed about 10 ft. out. I don't want to dig up the floors. The nearest drain is the main stack, where toilets in two bathrooms are almost on top of it. I would like to instal a rt hand tub and box in the new bath drain in a space between the wall and toilet (it would just look like a shelf). I just don't know if it would be sanitary or according to code. Please advise.
