I have a Maytag gas dryer which is located fairly centrally in my ranch-style house (unfortunately). I will soon have to redirect the existing vent line, which I installed several years ago. The existing line is almost 20 feet long and has three 90 degree elbows in it. I am considering a venting arrangement that goes up thru the attic and out through the roof instead of another fairly long run in a different direction. Is this advised? What hardware would you recommend I use?
