you can tie into the 2" vent on the kit sink useing a 2" san tee but if you are measuring the out side of the pipe it's only 1/1/2" pipe inside diameter.most kit sinks are vented with 1/1/2" pipe. the wye should be put in a 4" pipe but will work if you only have 3".if you have to follow your local code you better check with them.if not good luck in your project.Dale
