Water Heater Replacement

Just added soft water to home and plan to replace a 10 yr old 50 gal water heater. Any problem going to a 75 gal Bradford White? Lots of room and access (in garage). Concerned about the vent lione diameter (3" to 4") compatibility. Any suggestions or advice greatly appreciated!
