Toilet Vent

I have a question regarding a toilet vent. Currently, my house is plumbed as so:

| |
waste

Would it be acceptable to plumb it like so:

flange | |
________ | |
| | | |
| | | |
| | | |
/-----------/ /-------/ |
| |
| /------------------------/
| |
| |
| |
| |
waste
