Bob, I have the same problem as you; water hammer, and lots of crackling in the water heater when a toilet or faucet is used. My water heater is less than a year old so I don't think your water heater is going out. I have check valves on the inlet and outlet of my water heater. Could this be contributing to the problem? I would appreciate it if Terry would elaborate a little more on the water heater noises. |
