|In response to Re: Converting to a wheel in Shower room|
A properly vented drain line will never be "sucked out" when a toilet is flushed, and in most cases, it will not even occur without a vent if the toilet and shower are on the same floor.
: Hi, I'm converting a 8ftx8ft toilet into a shower room and need to install a central floor drain to connect into the 4inch toilet waste pipe. What sort of trap should I install to guarantee the seal won't be broken (sucked out) when the toilet is flushed?
: your advice would be most welcome, since my son has recently come face to face with life in a wheelchair.
