Whenever I use a lot of hot water, afterward when I open a hot water valve anywhere in the house I get a loud gurgling sound from the water heater, and a surge of pressure coming out of the faucet. I replaced the pressure regulator (cash-acme) and it is set a 50psi. The water heater is 1 year old (reliant 501) What else can I do? I also tried bleeding the air out of the pipes, but am not sure if I did it correctly. Please help! P.S. Could you explain the proper way to bleed air out of the system?
