My water heater is not producing hot water. I tested the uper heating element for continuity and the loop is closed.
How can I find out if the problem is on the thermostat or not? and also I'd like to know if is it possible that the problem could still be on the uper heating element eventhough the loop reads on my vm as closed?
In the lower element area; the temperature is pretty hot which idicates to me that it's fine.
Do I need to drain the entire tank to remove the heating elements?
By the way ; this is one of the best site I've seen regarding plumbing repairs!
