I am installing a new dishwasher and am connecting the waste line to the garbage disposal. The connection
sticking out of the garbage disposal is blocked off by a black disk that is located on the inside of the garbage
disposal. I am assuming that this prevents water from exiting that pipe if no dishwasher is connected. Now
that I am installing a dishwasher, how do I remove that disk?
