Polybutylene reimbursement deadline nears

Atlanta — Property owners who want to be reimbursed for damage or replacement costs associated with plumbing systems containing leaky polybutylene pipe fittings can’t wait forever to file a claim. The first major deadline in a 1995 class action lawsuit settlement involving the faulty product is Aug. 20, 1999.
