I have 3 pressure assisted American Standards and they work great. I have had them since 1995 with no problems, not any. As far as noise goes I haven't found it objectionable. They may be slightly noisier than a traditional but not quite as loud as a commercial unit. If you live in near Harrisburg PA you can come listen for yourself. Expect to pay between $300-400.
