I cannot locate a hole for a sump pump - what would be a "ball park" figure to eliminate the water problem? diane, there is no cheap way out of this one. it can be fixed 2 ways 1 dig up the out side of the foundation and install perimerter drain pipe around the house then to a sump pump and pump to the curb or away from the house or you can cut the basement floor and have the drain pipe laid under the slab then to a sump pump.
