replacing Cast Iron toilet flange & elbow

I've discovered that my toilet flange mount elbow has completely ruptured at the junction of the y-tube to the main septic line. My house is 150 yrs old and I'm trying to see if I can replace the toilet flange elbow either with cast iron or is there a way of joining new PVC to the cast iron. I only have about 2-3 inches of tube before the y-junction. Can I remove the cast iron elbow without damaging the rest of the system and replace with a new one? If I can, do you have it or know where such a thing is? Thanks in advance.
