: Your only choice is a one-piece laminate surround. Check the local phone book under bathroom remodel for installers. Good luck
: : I am finnishing my basement. I have installed a Clarke whirlpool tub and I cannot decide what to use for a surround and deck. The opening is not standard. There is a lot of custom cutting that will need to be done. I,ve priced the marble one piece but they want $1,200.00 and I hear tile is comperable to that. I've seen that melamine stuff with the plastic coating on one side but I don't trust it.... ....it's only glorified cardboard. I would like to stay at arround $350.00, any suggestions?
I've seen excellent examples of tile used as a deck for whirlpool tubs--just be sure that you seal the grout to prevent water damage.
