Help!! I only replaced the handles for my tub/shower faucet. Now unless I turn the hot water on very low or very high, I get a house-rattling hammer. This only happens with the hot water & only in the tub. All other faucets work fine. Some advice from previous messages about hammering suspected a loose washer. I did not replace any washers, nor did I disassemble the stem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The wife and kids want to hang me when I turn the water on at 6:30am and shake the house. Pete |
