Shower remodeling?

Terry,

I am remodeling my shower and am looking for a plastic or rubber product that I can use to coat the
shower pan (concrete) making it look like new again and be waterproof. A few years back I used a paint (I believe) on it,
but it has chipped off and is looking bad again. Should I be using a membrane and if so what's best and
what type of adhesive do I use.

I would greatly appreciate any information you have or suggestions.
